While this early report might have taken some of the limelight away from the phone’s actual launch event in Paris, there is still some information regarding OPPO Find X that was only revealed at the event itself. Among them is the price of the phone.
During the event, OPPO has announced that the Find X will carry a price tag of EU 999 which is around RM 4,636 after conversion. As you might have known, the phone is equipped with 6.42-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 845, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB internal storage as well as 3730mAh battery with support for OPPO’s own VOOC fast charge technology.
Built with a motorized sliding body which would reveal its cameras, the Find X’s rear camera is equipped with 16MP main shooter and 20MP depth sensor alongside optical image stabilization, and AI Scene Recognition capability. On its front, there’s also a 25MP selfie camera that has been enhanced with AI-fueled algorithm and a set of additional sensors to help it deliver not only good selfie but also fast and secure face unlocking capability.
In general, the price tag that OPPO has put on Find X is quite hefty indeed. However, the price of phones in European market tend to be higher than our market. That being said, we expect it to still command a premium price tag over here due to its hardware and that motorized sliding body.
