Amongst several games that were showcased during Sony’s E3 press conference was the Ghost of Tsushima. During the conference, an eight minute gameplay trailer of the PlayStation 4 exclusive game was shown. The Ghost of Tsushima is an open-world game developed by Sucker Punch, who is also responsible for the well-known Infamous series of games.
Ghost of Tsushima is a game based in 1274 Japan. The game centres around the protagonist named Jin and his fight against Mongol invaders on the island of Tsushima. The recently revealed trailer focused mostly on the combat of the game, which from the looks of it, is pretty enticing to say the least.
Equally as attractive are the gorgeous backgrounds of Ghost of Tsushima. The ‘colour choices’ used by the developers were very interesting. Of course, this doesn’t change the fact that Ghost of Tsushima is a indeed violent and challenging game—at least that’s what the gameplay trailer was indicating.
Either way, Ghost of Tsushima is shaping up to be a game we should keep an eye out for in the near future. Unfortunately, nothing much was said about the game’s release date during Sony’s press conference at E3. Hopefully, what’s showed during the event will be presented on the final consumer-ready version of the game.
