Parrot has just announced the Anafi, a compact drone features a foldable design and 4K video recording. It can also record HDR footage while only weighing in at 320 grams.
Alongside the foldable body which is similar in concept to the DJI Mavic Pro, the Anafi also features a 21MP camera sensor and a 180-degree tilt gimbal. Image stabilization on the drone is is delivered through a combination of optical and software implementations.
Footage recorded with the Anafi comes in either 4K HDR video at 30 fps or 1080p HDR video at 60 fps. Users are able to control the Anafi via a physical remote control working alongside the new FreeFlight 6 app although the app is only available for iOS at the moment.
Battery life for the Anafi is rated at 25 minutes of flight time per charge, and additional batteries can be purchased to increase the flight time. Price-wise, the drone will be made available for US$699 (RM 2,786) in the US from 1 July onwards. No Malaysian availability has been announced for the time being.
