Motorola has a new smaphone in the pipeline. Sporting the name Motorola One Power, the phone combines the currently trending notched screen design with (almost) stock Android One.
According to Android Headlines, the phone will be using the Motorola branding once again, dropping the previously used Moto moniker. No specifications have been shared, but it could be positioned as a mid-range device once it is released.
From the renders, it shared two of the currently popular trends; dual-cameras and notched bezel-less screen. We can expect the tall screen (either 18.5:9 or 19:9) screen to feature at least an FHD+ screen. The vertical dual-camera module on the back will be a first for the brand, as the modules were previously located in the middle of the back.
Motorola opts for both USB Type-C on the bottom and a 3.5mm audio jack located at the top. The fingerprint scanner on the back is purely for security, as the power button is located on the side of the phone. It will also feature Android One, an almost-stock Android experience from the get-go.
Unfortunate that Motorola is following trends rather than blazing through new territory with the Motorola One Power. Still, it is good to see the company is not resting on its laurels and continue to create new models for the market.
