Lenovo is set to unveil – perhaps its most exciting phone yet in years – the new Lenovo Z5 next week on 5 June. Featuring what seems like a completely bezel-less display (likely with no notch either), it’s a pretty darn sleek phone.
There have been numerous teasers surrounding the Lenovo Z5 over the past couple of weeks. We got a glimpse at the phone’s top and bottom left displays, and even a sketch of the upcoming device. Lenovo also clarified that the Z5 will be a followup to the company’s Zuk series.
Needless to say, one of the most exciting features of the Z5 lies in its display – it’s said to have over a whopping 95% screen-to-body ratio, which is perhaps the highest we’ve seen from a consumer-ready product. The sketch certainly shows the impressive display, and it’ll be interesting to see where Lenovo will place the front-facing camera and earpiece.
Unfortunately, other specifications of the Z5 are not known yet, but Lenovo did tease that the upcoming phone will have an impressive 45-day standby time. On top of that, it’s said to feature “four technological breakthroughs” and “18 patented technologies.”
The Lenovo Z5 is set to be unveiled in China on 5 June 2018. We’ll find out then if the Z5 is as impressive as it’s made up to be.
