It’s been quite some time since the iPhone X was unveiled, but it still has one of the most advanced front-facing camera systems in the market. The phone’s TrueDepth camera is said to be much ahead of its competition, and we’ve compared it to the Samsung Galaxy S9+. But for this video, we talk about four cool things you can do with the iPhone X’s TrueDepth camera.
Of course, one of the most obvious uses of the TrueDepth camera is for Face ID. You can use facial recognition to unlock the iPhone X – obviously – and you can even use the security feature to authenticate purchases on the Apple App Store. Aside from that, Animoji is still a very fun feature to play with, though we do wish it’s also natively supported outside of the iMessage app.
Without a doubt the iPhone X’s TrueDepth camera is one of the phone’s most impressive hardware. To learn more about it, check out our comparison between Face ID and Samsung’s Intelligent Scan.
