Nvidia has officially unveiled a new variant under its GTX 1050 family of graphics card. Prior to this, the company had two GTX 1050 variants: GTX 1050 2GB and GTX 1050 Ti. Now, Nvidia has unveiled a third model called the GTX 1050 3GB, and it comes with rather interesting specifications.
Nvidia’s GTX 1050 3GB features 786 CUDA Cores, a memory interface width of 96-bit, and a memory bandwidth speed of 84GBps. Obviously, as its name implies, this graphics card is also blessed with 3GB VRAM capacity. Clock speeds of this graphics card are rated at 1392MHz (base) and 1518MHz (boost).
What makes the Nvidia GTX 1050 3GB rather interesting is the fact that it comes with the same amount of CUDA Cores as the GTX 1050 Ti, and it has a higher clock speed as the latter graphics card as well. That said, the memory bandwidth speed of the GTX 1050 3GB is oddly slower compared even to the GTX 1050 2GB.
Other specifications of the GTX 1050 3GB remains pretty much the same as the GTX 1050 2GB and GTX 1050 Ti —even the power consumption rate. Regardless, more information regarding this new graphics card can be found on Nvidia’s official website.
