Besides the OnePlus 6, OnePlus co-founder, Carl Pei also announced the Bullets Wireless, its first pair of wireless earphones. The earphones were launched simultaneously with the new flagship, and it’s loaded with a multitude of features.
To start, the earphones are magnetic, allowing users to snap them around the neck when not in use. If paired with a OnePlus 5, 5T or 6, snapping the heads together will automatically power it down. To turn it on, you simply separate the earphones.
On the subject of its audio fidelity, OnePlus says that the Bullets Wireless are on par with most premium-grade in-ear headphones. It also has the AptX codec that enables it to have a much clearer Bluetooth audio quality. It also comes with an additional component called “energy tubes” built into it, which supposedly diminishes the amount of reverberation in the wires, thus providing a clearer and deeper audio experience.
The Bullets Wireless also supports fast-charging via a USB Type-C. On that note, OnePlus says that 10 minutes of charging would give users five hours of usage (at least, on paper). It’s also integrated to work with Google Assistant.
The OnePlus Bullets Wireless will be available by the end of June via its official online store, and will retail for US69 (~RM274).
