After the official launch of the OnePlus 6 earlier today, it appears that the company is collaborating with Disney once again to launch a special, limited edition Avengers-themed version of the phone. The last time OnePlus partnered up with Disney was to launch its limited edition Star Wars OnePlus 5T.
The limited edition phone is clearly being made to commemorate the most recent Avengers: Infinity War movie, which premiered last month. Computer generated images of the phone suggests that it will have a Kevlar-style back, plus a gold Avengers emblem on the bottom half of it.
According to The Verge, news about the limited edition theme first broke in India. This means that besides China, India is very likely one of the first few countries that will see distribution of the limited edition OnePlus 6. Specs-wise, the Avengers-themed phone will only come in a 8GB RAM and 256 storage configuration, so it’s likely that it will set consumers back US$629 (~RM2,495) or a little more than that.
The OnePlus 6 is the company’s latest flagship, and was officially launched during its official event in London earlier this morning. It is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC, up to 8GB DDR4 RAM, a 6.28″ Full HD+ 19:9 Optic AMOLED display, and a dual 16MP and 20MP main camera array.
At the time of writing, OnePlus had not provided a release date for the phone.
