As promised before, HMD Global has finally unveiled its latest Android smartphone in the form of Nokia X6. Although the phone has been openly shown to public before, it is only today that the company has released all related official information regarding the phone.
Aside from the notched 5.8-inch full HD+ 19:9 display which HMD Global has confirmed before, we also now know that the Nokia X6 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 636. With 95% of its body covered by glass, the phone can be obtained with 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage combination or the more souped-up 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage.
Just like the display, the phone’s dual rear camera configuration is something that already known by public before, but today’s unveiling has revealed that the camera features a combination of 16MP and 5MP sensors. On the front of the phone, there’s also a 16MP selfie camera.
Even though the phone doesn’t feature the Android One label, the Nokia X6 still comes standard with pure Android 8.0 Oreo. Wrapping off its general specifications is a 3060mAh battery which supports fast charging capability.
Price-wise, the Nokia X6 with 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage is listed at CNY 1299 (about RM 809) while the variant with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage goes for CNY 1699 (about RM 1058). At this moment, its availability for markets outside of China is not yet known.
