AMD has made an official announcement regarding its upcoming event next month at Taipei. The event will be taking place on the second day of Computex 2018. Last year, the company announced more details about its Ryzen Threadripper processor as well as its mobile APU during its Computex 2018 press conference.
Some of the major announcements that may (or may not) come during the event is details regarding Ryzen 3 processors. In addition, AMD may mention details about its upcoming Ryzen mobile CPUs as well. It seems unlikely that the company will reveal anything too specific regarding its future graphics cards – but hopefully it will.
Also expected to be mentioned during AMD’s Computex 2018 press event is the release date for its second generation Ryzen Threadripper processors; one which many PC enthusiasts will look forward to. Those aside, AMD’s competitor, Nvidia, will also have an event of its own a few days before the start of Computex. Nvidia’s event, however, will most likely be focusing on its gaming products; the “redefining gaming experience” tagline of the event shows this.
Regardless, it’ll be very interesting to see the announcements that AMD has in store for us consumers during its upcoming press event. Hopefully the company will surprise us.
