Malaysia’s 14th General Election is set to take place tomorrow, and some enterprising Malaysians have designed a quick and easy way to keep track of the results. The GE14MAP project provides the public with a map that is easily accessible from both desktop and mobile browsers.
For now, the GE14MAP page shows the results of the GE13; which represents the Parliamentary breakdown up until this current election. The interactive map covers all 222 constituencies, and allows visitors to click on each one to bring up an more detailed look at the election results.
Visitors to the site will be able to follow the results of the election as they are announced tomorrow. So don’t expect anything to change on the map until the ballots are counted and reported over the news.
If anything, it’s a nice representation to see just how much our country’s political landscape has changed over the last five years. The GE14MAP can be accessed from the official site.
