honor Malaysia just revealed that its latest flagship smartphone, the honor 10, will be launching in Malaysia on 22 May. Considering the fact that the phone was introduced in China just a few weeks ago, it’s arriving on our shores pretty quickly.
In terms of specifications – and to some extent, even design – the honor 10 is largely similar to the Huawei P20. It comes with a 5.84-inch Full HD+ display (complete with a notch at the top), a Kirin 970 chipset paired with 4GB or 6GB of RAM, up to 128GB of internal storage, and a 3,400mAh battery.
As for the camera, the honor 10 features a 24MP + 16MP dual-camera system on the back. Both sensors have f/1.8 apertures, and they can do real time scene recognition for 22 different scenarios thanks to the camera system’s AI capabilities.
Rounding out the specifications of the honor 10 include a 24MP front-facing shooter, an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, and EMUI 8.1 based on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. Oh, the phone’s glass back also sports a rather sleek-looking gradient finish.
The honor 10 is set to be introduced in Malaysia on 22 May. There’s no word yet on how much it will be priced locally, but we reckon it will carry a competitive price tag – that’s usually the case for honor smartphones.
