Lenovo is offering a new warranty program for its range of laptops dubbed PremiumCare. In fact, until the end of June 2018, you can get a discount on the service with the purchase of selected Lenovo laptops.
In essence, PremiumCare is a more comprehensive after-sale service than what is offered with the standard warranty. One of the most interesting services that’s offered with PremiumCare is on-site warranty – this kind of service is usually offered only on enterprise-level products.
However, there is one limitation to this: on-site technical support is only available on weekdays from 9am to 9pm.
Aside from that, there is also technical support through phone 24/7; those who are not on the PremiumCare service can only get said support during business hours. Interestingly, PremiumCare offers an annual PC Health Check too, which ensures that your laptop is in optimal condition.
Last but certainly not least is the Lenovo Help app. It allows you to get quicker response to your queries, check the status of your warranty, and even schedule for a PC Health Check appointment.
From now until 15 July 2018, those who purchase selected Lenovo laptops in-store can upgrade to one-year PremiumCare warranty for RM19.90 instead of RM249 – some laptops also offer a two-year one for RM49.90 instead of RM379. More information on PremiumCare can be found here.
