LG has released another teaser for its upcoming G7 ThinQ, and this time it points towards a louder and more potent internal speaker setup. Specifically, the speakers will utilise LG’s new Boombox speaker feature; a feature that basically enhances the phone’s base volume by more than 6dB, and with twice that amount for the bass.
In addition to the new Boombox feature, the G7 ThinQ will also offer headphone users a new DTS: X 3D surround sound feature. According to LG, its DTS: X will digitally provide headphone users with 7.1 channel performance, apparently negating the need to buy expensive, premium headphones.
Of course, the G7 ThinQ will also come with a HiFi Quad DAC, which will undoubtedly please high-end headphone users.
The LG G7 ThinQ is slated for a 3 May, 2018 release. To date, very little is known about its hardware, but it’s almost a certainty that the phone will be rocking a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC, at least 4GB RAM (minimum), as well as a 64GB internal storage capacity.
