Celcom has officially launched its Home Wireless internet plan. As per our earlier report, the company’s new internet plan will be available in three packages – Gold, Gold Plus, and Platinum.
The basic Home Internet Gold package costs RM74.20, and users will get 25GB of data and an additional 40GB to be used to stream content on Walla. The Gold Plus package costs slightly more at RM106, but at that price you get 50GB of data plus 100GB for Walla.
Its top-of-the-line Home Wireless Platinum package goes for RM159. At that price, consumers get 150GB of data and a whooping 1TB of data to stream music and videos on Walla. Celcom also promises average transfer speeds between 30Mbps and 40Mbps for all its packages.
You can sign up for Celcom’s Home Wireless package by visiting the nearest Blue Cube centre or any Celcom certified partner. Consumers will be required to sign up for a 24-month plan, but will not need to make any advance payment upfront. Consumers will also get a Huawei B618 modem worth RM1,500. The modem will be able to support up to 64 connected devices at a time.
Should anything happen to the modem (e.g. accidentally being dropped, unable to function properly) within 30 days of subscribing, Celcom will replace it with an identical modem free of charge, and no questions asked.
In conjunction with the launch, Celcom is giving consumers visiting the Homedec exhibition at KLCC a chance to win a 1-year free subscription to its Home Wireless Gold and Platinum packages. Bear in mind, this special prize will only be effect for the duration of the exhibition, which begins today (26 April 2018) and ends on 29 April 2018.
For existing Celcom FIRST Gold Plus, Gold Supreme, Platinum, and Platinum Plus members, a RM15 rebate will also be applied if they register for the new Home Wireless Platinum package during the Homedec exhibition.
