Leaks have confirmed the existence of the Samsung Galaxy A6+. It looks to be another mid-range phone that rounds out Samsung’s Galaxy A range; and we expect that a third phone in the series will appear this year.
Samsung is sticking with the current trend of tall screens as the Galaxy A6+ will have an 18:9 screen. The company also looks to have removed the front physical button; moving the fingerprint sensor to the back.
Underneath the metal body are decidedly mid-range specifications. It is slated to have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. As this is a Samsung phone, microSD support will be present, and, depending on region, dual SIM slots.
The Samsung Galaxy A6+ is set to appear on store shelves sometime this year, alongside the Galaxy A6. The Plus variant is set to feature three different colours – Black, Gold and Blue. There are no confirmation on Malaysian distribution plans, but based on precedence, we should be seeing this model being sold locally.
