In conjunction with launch of the new Xpax Postpaid plans last week, Celcom has also officially announced that these new plans are also available under the Easyphone program. For those who are not familiar with it, the program basically allows users to purchase selected phone through a 24-months installment plan.
Depending on customers’ eligibility, they can choose to add Device Protection scheme to the phones that they obtained through the Easyphone program. Under the scheme, their devices will be protected against theft, damages, and airtime abuse.
At this moment, there are only two phones available to Xpax Postpaid customers under the Easyphone program and each of them is tied to specific plan. Specifically, the Xpax Postpaid 50 subscribers can get their hands on Huawei Nova 2i while the Apple iPhone 6 is only available for Xpax Postpaid 79 customers.
For the Nova 2i, it costs RM 45 per month regardless of whether customers opt for Device Protection or otherwise. On another hand, the iPhone 6 can be obtained for RM 44 per month inclusive of Device Protection coverage or RM 29 per month if they choose to forego the coverage.
However, do note that the Device Protection scheme is compulsory for certain customers. For further information regarding Easyphone program for Xpax Postpaid subscribers, head on to Celcom’s official website or visit your nearest Blue Cube and Celcom Certified Partner outlets.
