A filing with the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) appears to indicate that there is a series of new iPhones on the horizon. Rumours have been pointing to a supposed iPhone SE 2; but it is difficult to say that this might be the case.
The filing doesn’t reveal any info regarding the devices, with only the iOS version mentioned. A total of 11 iPhones with different model numbers were spotted with all running iOS 11. Multiple numbers are not unusual for the iPhone; seeing that even the iPhone X carried three different model numbers.
While product filings are usually poor indications of impending launches, the EEC has been a decent indicator at least once in the past. Having revealed the existence of two new iPads a month before the actual announcement.
With this in mind, we can expect to see a new iPhone at around May or June. Coincidentally, Apple has scheduled its WWDC in early June. Which is when most expect a new entry level iPhone to appear. Although, the developer conference is usually where Apple talks about macs instead.
