If you’re looking for a gaming notebook on a budget, you might be interested to know that ASUS has launched its TUF Gaming FX504 gaming notebook in Malaysia. Announced at the time of the Intel Coffee Lake-H processor refresh, the FX504 is the first laptop to bear the TUF branding.
To kick things off; the FX504 comes with two CPU options – the basic model with an Intel Core i5-8300H, or the more premium Core i7-8750H. All models ship out with the standard 4GB of DDR4 2,666MHz RAM, but ASUS has stated that the memory is non-soldered memory, meaning that you can upgrade it to as much as 16GB of DDR4 RAM should you so choose.
The FX504 also comes with a choice between an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 or GTX 1050 Ti discrete GPU. However, it should be noted that the latter configuration is only available for model with the Core i7-8750H CPU and the storage option with a 128GB PCIe SSD and 1TB SSHD. Regardless of the chosen configurations, all models of the FX504 will come with a 15.6″ Full HD display.
The TUF Gaming FX504 is already available starting today, and starts with an official SRP of RM3,299 for the basic model, and RM4,399 for its most premium configuration.
