ASUS Malaysia has officially launched the Zephyrus-M, the little brother to the ultra-thin Zephyrus gaming notebook. Unlike its brethren, this one doesn’t include a GPU with Max-Q technology. Being fitted with a regular version of Nvidia graphics cards instead.
The Zephyrus-M will be available in two configurations – the top of the line will come with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070, while the second variant will house a GeForce GTX 1060. Besides the discrete GPUs, both variants will house the same Intel Core i7-8750H, up to 16GB of DDR4 RAM, along with a 256GB SSD and 1TB HDD storage combo. Last but not least, both variants will feature the same 15.6″ Full HD display with a refresh rate of 144Hz.
ASUS has also redesigned the keyboard layout for the new notebook. In comparison to the original Zephyrus, the keyboard and trackpad on the Zephyrus-M is more logically situated in the middle of the notebook’s base. The only trade-off, however, is that the notebook is slightly thicker than its bigger brother.
The ASUS ROG Zephyrus-M will be available for purchase at the end of April. Pricing for the gaming notebook will start from RM7,999 for the variant with the GTX 1060, while the model with the GTX 1070 will set you back RM9,299.
