honor is set to release its first proper flagship of 2018 next week, the honor 10. Much like previous honor-branded smartphones, it’s likely that the honor 10 will sport some features of the Huawei P20, including the sleek gradient-like colourways. However, it appears the upcoming phone won’t feature the P20 Pro’s impressive triple-camera system.
Slated to be launched on 19 April, the launch date was revealed through a teaser poster – the image also teases the possibility of a gradient-like back. That being said, if a leaked image of the honor 10 is legitimate – shown below – it may not be quite as sleek as the P20 phones’ Twilight colourway.
Nonetheless, the honor 10 should be a rather high-end smartphone. It’s said to come with a 5.8-inch display – with a notch at the top, unsurprisingly – a Huawei Kirin 970 chipset paired with up to 6GB of RAM, two choices of internal storage (64GB or 128GB), and also a dual-camera system – we reckon it could be similar to the P20’s camera configuration.
The honor 10 will be officially unveiled on 19 April next week. In the past, honor smartphones are usually considered to be more affordable alternatives to Huawei’s flagships, but this doesn’t seem to be the case anymore – the P20 Pro’s Leica triple-camera system will likely remain exclusive to Huawei.
