Sony Malaysia just announced price cuts on two of its smartphones: the flagship Sony Xperia XZ Premium, and the mid-range Xperia XA1 Plus. With this official price cut, the XZ Premium is now going for RM700 less.
Originally retailing at RM3,399 at launch, the Xperia XZ Premium now carries a RM2,699 price tag. The XA1 Plus, on the other hand, can be bought for RM1,299, saving you RM200. Not exactly huge price revisions, but any price cut is always welcomed.
Although Sony Malaysia is offering the XZ Premium for RM2,699 now, certain retailers are offering better deals. On Lazada itself, DirectD and G Store are listing the XZ Premium for only RM2,599. On top of that, both retailers are also bundling in a bunch of accessories with the device.
That being said, RM2,599 for a 2017 flagship isn’t exactly a very enticing deal, though the Sony Xperia XZ Premium’s 5.5-inch 4K HDR display may appeal to certain consumers.
