Samsung Galaxy Note 8 users will be happy to know that the Android 8.0 Oreo update has begun rolling out for the Malaysian market. The OTA update coincides with an earlier report, where the company said that it would begin the rollout beginning the end of March.
The update itself is global, but if you haven’t received your update, don’t panic. It’s likely that the the rollouts will be done in batches. All in all, reports are saying that the update which also includes improvements to the Samsung Experience 9.0 UI would be 1.47GB in size.
On that note, if you are updating your Note 8, we recommend that you conduct it over a landed WiFi connection. That is, unless you have a very generous data plan.
