Last week, Acer Malaysia has published a teaser on its Facebook page which showed a silhouette of a laptop. It is quite clear to us that it is not just any laptop though as the laptop will feature Arc Reactor artwork on it which is synonym with the well-known Marvel superhero, Iron Man.
Given that this particular Arc Reactor design is consistent to the version featured in the upcoming Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War movie that will be released later this month, we figured that there must be a connection between the movie and Acer. As it turns out, both companies have indeed collaborated to come out with the Acer Swift 3 Marvel’s Avengers Infinity War Iron Man Edition.
Readily available in Hong Kong, the laptop is also draped in red and gold colorway which are similar to Iron Man himself. Not only that, it is also accompanied by specially designed wallpaper, laptop sleeves and packaging that should put a smile on any Marvel fans’ face.
In terms of its specifications, the limited-edition model seems to feature similar components as per standard Swift 3 variant that was released in Malaysia last October. This means that the laptop is equipped with Intel Core i5-8250U, 8GB RAM, 256GB solid state drive, and NVIDIA GeForce MX 150 2GB graphics although Acer has opted for a smaller 14-inch full HD IPS display for it.
Readily available in Hong Kong, it should only be a matter of time before Acer Malaysia announced more details regarding the release of Acer Swift 3 Marvel’s Avengers Infinity War Iron Man Edition in our market. So, stay tuned.
