With the AMD Ryzen+ CPU set to launch this month, motherboard manufacturers have slowly began to hint at their latest offerings for the processor. Case in point, images of MSI’s new X470 Gaming Pro Carbon AC motherboard were recently leaked online.
Based on the information and images published by Videocardz, the motherboard will supposedly come in two variants – one equipped with on-board WiFi AC and one without. Aesthetically, the motherboard has also been given a facelift when compared to its X370 predecessor. It features a more pleasing black and silver design with its VRM heatsinks, and it even has LED lights built into it.
Regarding the specs; the X470 Carbon Pro AC apparently has one less PCIe x1 slot, replaced by the addition of two more SATA ports. The motherboard comes with two M2 SSD slots, and the main M.2 slot comes with a new and improved M.2 Shield.
