Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds has somehow managed to transplant the experience of PC gaming onto the mobile platform. Unfortunately, this has also brought with it a large number of people who are willing to do anything it takes to win.
Motherboard reports that an increasing number of players have been turning towards improved control schemes in order to gain an edge over the competition. Some have been connecting Bluetooth keyboard and mouse combinations, while others are a little more extreme; going so far as to install the game on Chromebooks or use emulators on PC.
All of this simply means that the cheaters will have superior reaction times and precision over those who are playing the game the way it was meant to be played.
The problem of using a keyboard and mouse to gain an edge isn’t only confined to PUBG Mobile. Those playing on Xbox One have long been complaining about the problem; with no solution in sight. And it’s far easier to change the input on a the Xbox.
Failing to find a solution could turn PUBG Mobile into a hellhole for legitimate players. Especially if the number of players playing from PC continues to increase. Of course, this is bound to happen since PUBG on Steam costs RM75, while the mobile version is absolutely free.
