Details and images of the MSI H310-F Pro motherboard have been leaked ahead of its release. From the looks of it, the LGA1151 motherboard is designed specifically to be used for cryptocurrency mining with GPUs.
The motherboard has the ability to accommodate as many as 13 GPUs at any given time; it has 1 full-sized PCIe 3.0 x16 slot, and 12 PCIe x1 slots. Additionally, the motherboard has two DDR4 RAM slots, four fan connectors, and it even comes with MOLEX power connectors in the box in the event a miner requires additional power for its GPUs. There’s also space for five more PCIe x1 slots, but those are unavailable due to the limitations of the chipset.
GPU mining is still seen as a lucrative form of revenue despite having dropped from RM80,000 to RM35,000 in value. Although, there is something to be said about the current prices of graphics cards in the market today.(Source: Videocardz)
