It might only be made available in Malaysia just few weeks ago but nevertheless, HMD Global has recently revealed that it has reduced the price for Nokia 2. With that, the phone has joined other existing Nokia Android devices which have received price cut since few months ago.
Equipped with a 5-inch HD LTPS display, Nokia 2 is running on Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 processor together with 1GB of RAM and 8GB internal storage. The entry-level device also features 8MP rear camera and 5MP front camera alongside a huge 4100mAh battery.
Originally priced at RM 429, the price cut allows consumers to obtain Nokia 2 at slightly lower price of RM 399. As for other Nokia devices, here is how they are priced at the moment:
Nokia 8: RM 1988 (original price: RM 2299)
Nokia 6: RM 899 (original price: RM 999)
Nokia 5: RM 699 (original price: RM 799)
Nokia 3: RM 499 (original price: RM 599)
You might be able to save up even further for these four devices through local e-commerce stores though. For example, we found that Nokia 8 can be obtained at RM 1798 – a further savings of RM 200.
As for Nokia 6, it can be purchased for RM 829 with Nokia 5 is being listed RM 679 and RM 485 for Nokia 3. While the additional discounts might not be as big as Nokia 8, they are still better than nothing.
