Logitech recently has announced two new additions to the Logitech G family of gaming-oriented peripherals that also marked the debut of the company’s new Lightsync feature. One of them is the G560 RGB Gaming Speakers that will apparently be made available in Malaysia soon.
In general, what Lightsync does is that it dynamically synchronized the RGB lights on selected Logitech G peripherals according to the events that are being unfold inside the game that users are playing. However, we have heard of such feature before on existing Logitech G devices though, so we not sure what’s the difference between the new Lightsync and the older intelligent illumination feature.
While the company work with game developers to come out with specialized Lightsync profile, users are free to customize the RGB lights on the G560 speakers through Logitech Gaming Software. Additionally, the illumination on the speakers can also be set to react to the music that users choose to play on them.
As for the speakers themselves, the G560 comes with a pair of satellite speakers with 63.5mm driver each alongside a subwoofer with a downfiring 165mm driver. With power rating of 120W RMS or 240W peak power alongside DTS:X surround sound enhancements, the speakers can be utilized through 3.5mm audio port, USB, and Bluetooth connection.
Price-wise, the new Logitech G560 Lightsync PC gaming speakers will be made available for RM 999 according to Logitech Malaysia’s official website. However, its actual release date in our market is not yet known at the moment although Logitech has stated that the G560 speakers will be made available throughout the world this April.
