Celcom has quietly launched a new wireless broadband service for its consumer customers. Available in three different plans, the telco stated that customers will be able to obtain up to 1TB Internet connection instantly.
According to its official website, the most affordable plan is the Home Wireless Gold which provides 25GB of data alongside another 40GB for Video and Music Walla applications. Similarly, there is also the Home Wireless Gold Plus that offers combination of 50GB general quota and 100GB for their Video/Music Walla apps.
On another hand, the Home Wireless Platinum customers will receive 150GB for general usages and 1TB for their video as well music steaming applications as long as they are one of Celcom’s Video or Music Walla partners. These plans are priced at RM 74.20, RM 106, and RM 159 per month respectively.
Alongside 30-days return policy, Celcom stated that up to 64 devices can be connected to its home wireless broadband device. However, the telco didn’t provide further information regarding the actual device that it is using to deliver this service at customer’s premise.
While Celcom has yet to publish the FAQ and TnC documents for its home wireless broadband service on the website, the telco’s customer service has stated to us that these plans come with 24 months contract. Customers are also apparently able to subscribe to these plans through Celcom Blue Cube and Celcom Center immediately.
