As promised, Huawei today has officially launched its Nova 2 Lite in our market. It is the latest addition to the company’s Nova series in Malaysia and features a set of hardware that seems to cater for the lower mid-range market.
Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 instead of Huawei’s own Kirin SoC, the Nova 2 Lite also carries a 5.99-inch IPS 18:8 display with HD+ resolution. It also comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage alongside EMUI 8.0 on top of its Android Oreo 8.0 operating system.
The new phone is also equipped with dual rear camera which is a combination of 13MP and 2MP sensors while there is also another 8MP camera on its front. With the support for face unlocking, rounding up Nova 2 Lite’s general specifications is a fingerprint sensor on its back and 3000mAh battery.
Priced at RM 799, consumers in Malaysia are able to get their hands on the new Nova 2 Lite starting from 23 Mac onwards through Huawei Experience Stores and Authorised Resellers as well as Senheng branches all over the country. Celcom and Maxis will also be offering the phone to its customers as well.
