TP-Link’s smartphone division, Neffos, has officially launched the N1 in Malaysia. On that note, Malaysia is also the first country where Neffos is launching its new dual-camera flagship.
Diving immediately into the hardware of the phone; the N1 houses an eight-core MediaTek Helio P25 SoC, 4GB RAM, and a internal storage capacity of 64GB – which can be expanded to 128GB via the dedicated micro SD card slot. The display on the N1 measures in at 5.5″, and has Full HD (1,920 x 1,080) resolution.
Of course, the highlight of the phone is its dual 12MP main camera array; both using Sony’s IMX386 sensors. Also on the back is a fingerprint sensor for biometric verification. The front-facing camera of the N1 uses 8MP sensor.
Software-wise, the phone is running Neffos’ NFUI on top of Android 7.1.1 Nougat, which should be upgradable to Android 8.0 Oreo, though Neffos did not state when that update will be made available. To power it all up, the N1 packs a 3,260mAh battery.
The Neffos N1 will retail at an SRP of RM1,099, and will be available in one colour: Space Black. In addition, Neffos will also be making the phone available for purchase on Lazada as well, with the first 30 customers receiving an exclusive premium gift worth RM299.
Also present at the launch were the Neffos C7 and C5A. Both phones were announced a couple of month ago, and both phones released in an effort to cover the mid-range and entry-level smartphone market. Price-wise, the C7 and C5A will retail at RM599 and RM299, respectively.
