As we approach the launch of the Huawei P20 phones, more and more details and images of the upcoming devices are surfacing. This latest leak, however, is quite interesting – the Twilight colour option is very eye-catching.
Likely reserved only for the highest-end P20 Pro, the new Twilight colour seems to have a gradient of sorts: it appears to shift from blue to purple. Of course, this is still just a render, but it’ll be really interesting to see how the new colour would look like in real life.
Aside from the Twilight colour, there are quite a number of other noteworthy specifications revealed too, including the lack of expandable storage on the P20 (and likely on the P20 Pro as well). If this turns out to be true, it’s not much of a surprise: the Huawei Mate 10 Pro doesn’t support expandable storage either.
Other leaked hardware include LCD and OLED displays on the P20 and P20 Pro respectively, a 4,000mAh battery on the Pro model (the P20 has a 3,400mAh cell instead), and a new and improved camera system.

Based on Huawei’s teasers on the camera capabilities of the P20 phones, the Pro model – or even the standard P20 – may be able to capture slow motion videos too – perhaps in the same vein as the slow motion video recording found on the new Samsung Galaxy S9 and the Sony Xperia XZ2. Nonetheless, we’ll find out for ourselves if these details are accurate come 27 March.
