Honor has officially taken the wraps off of its new smartphone, the Honor 7C. The phone will be Honor’s latest entry-level smartphone which will be positioned as its budget offering in China.
Honor is bringing the latest trend in smartphones, such as the 18:9 screen and dual camera, to the masses. The 7C comes with a 5.99-inch 1440 x 720 pixel display, although it still feature quite a bit of bezel along the sides. Its imaging capabilities are handled by a 13MP+2MP dual camera on the back and a single 8MP selfie camera. The dual camera set up will allow for a depth-sensing feature such as portrait as seen with numerous smartphone these days.
There are two variants (3GB RAM/32GB storage and 4GB RAM/64GB storage) of the phone, both running on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450. Additionally, there is a microSD card slot with up to 256 GB capacity is also available for users. The Honor 7C also comes with a fingerprint scanner on the back and the Face Unlock feature.
So far, the phone can only be purchased in China as Honor has yet to mention any plans to bring the phone to more countries. Four colours are available for the 7C- Black, Red, Gold and Blue. Prices start from CNY 899 (RM 555) for the 3GB RAM with 32GB storage and CNY 1299 (RM802) for the 4GB RAM with 64GB storage variant.
