Less than six months after discontinuing the iPhone from its Zerolution program, Maxis is reinstating the plan for all iPhone models available from the telco. This new iPhone Zerolution program includes the iPhone 7/7 Plus, iPhone 8/8 Plus, and the iPhone X.
Where other Zerolution plans don’t require you to sign up with a credit card and applications can be done online, the iPhone Zerolution plans now require both. You must have a valid credit card to apply, and you can only do so at a physical Maxis store.
Existing Maxis Zerolution customers who have opted for the annual upgrade will be able to change to the iPhone upon reaching their upgrade anniversary. Unfortunately, this new iPhone Zerolution plan doesn’t come with an annual upgrade offer. This essentially means you will not be able to upgrade your smartphone after 12 months of the 24-month iPhone Zerolution contract.
Those appear to be the only two differences for the new iPhone Zerolution plan. Depending on the iPhone model, you can opt for different MaxisONE plans. Here’s the breakdown:
iPhone 7 32GB
iPhone 7 128GB
iPhone 7 Plus 32GB
iPhone 7 Plus 128GB
iPhone 8 64GB
iPhone 8 256GB
iPhone 8 Plus 64GB
iPhone 8 Plus 256GB
iPhone X 64GB
iPhone X 256GB
