ZTE has announced its latest smartphone – the Nubia N3 in China. The Nubia N3 it looks like a decent mid-range smartphone, incorporating some trending design cues to keep it attractive to the modern market. Thankfully, this doesn’t include a notch on the display.
The new phone comes with all the bells and whistles that you would expect to have on a 2018 phone. On the front, there’s a 5.99-Inch screen of 2160×1080 resolution. The notch-less 18:9 screen will have a pretty slim bezel around it. Internals of the phone comprises of 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The phone comes with Android 7.1 out of the box. It sports a 16MP selfie camera with a dual camera set up on the back. The huge 5000mAh battery will be powering the device with support for fast charging.
The only odd decision that ZTE has made with this phone is the use of a pretty old processor. The Nubia N3 is powered by the Snapdragon 625 instead of the newer Snapdragon 630. ZTE probably wanted to cut down cost by using an older chip. This means that users of the Nubia N3 will not have the latest performance upgrade that comes with the newer chip.
So far, availability of the phone is only limited to China. The phone will be available to purchase in China starting 24 March. No word yet on how much it will cost. ZTE will be offering the phone in three colours- Obsidian Black, Space Gold, and Nebula Red.
