It’s not all just gaming displays with ASUS. Besides its ROG Swift PG27VQ curved gaming monitor, the company also announced its curved ultra-wide QHD (UWQHD) Designo Care MX34VQ display for the professional market segment.
With a display size measuring in at 34″ and with a display aspect ratio of 21:9, the MX34VQ has a display resolution of 3,440 x 1,440 pixels. In addition, the monitor also has a curvature level of 1800R, which ASUS says is “equidistant” to the viewer’s eyes, and will provide both an immersive and panoramic viewing experience.
To further enhance the user’s viewing experience, ASUS has also installed its Eye Care technology into the MX34VQ, which essentially makes the display flicker-free, as well as emit low levels of blue light.
In addition to that, the base of the MX34VQ can also double as wireless charger, thanks to the built-in Qi wireless charging pad. Of course, for you to take advantage of this feature, you will need a smart device that supports wireless charging (e.g. iPhone X, Samsung Galaxy S9, Sony Xperia XZ2, etc.)
But there’s more; the MX34VQ also features a built-in dual 8-watt speaker setup that was co-developed by ASUS and Harman Kardon, and further enhanced by the former’s SonicMaster audio technology.
Ports-wise, the MX34VQ houses one DisplayPort 1.2, three HDMI 2.0 ports, and one 3.5mm headphone jack. On a related note; the monitor also has the Adaptive Sync feature, which users will be able to utilise via its DisplayPort 1.2.
The ASUS Designo Care MX34VQ is already available at all authorised ASUS resellers and retailers, and it will retail at an SRP of RM4,199. Lastly, the monitor comes with a three-year warranty.
