With tons of new smartphones revealed at Mobile World Congress, we already expect at least one or two of them would end up on the hands of the well-known imaging lab, DxOMark. True enough, the lab has got its hands on the Samsung Galaxy S9+ and has published its performance score for the new device earlier today.
According to the lab, the latest flagship smartphone from Samsung has almost no flaws when it comes to its photography capability. It is apparently able to consistently deliver good results for both still images and video recording.
DxOMark also further stated that the Galaxy S9 Plus has a great zoom as well as bokeh simulation capabilities. The report from the lab provided plenty of details and samples but all in all, DxOMark was so satisfied with the new device to the extent that it has rated Galaxy S9 Plus higher than the previous king of the chart, the Google Pixel 2 with a score of 99.
That being said, the differences between the two DxOMark scores was just 1 single point. Well, we are quite eager to test the capability of the phone ourselves and hope to be able to do that soon enough as Samsung will be launching the new Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ in Malaysia later this month.
