Samsung has finally opened pre-orders for its latest Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ flagship smartphones. Priced at RM3,299 for the Galaxy S9, and from RM3,799 and above for the Galaxy S9+, you can order the devices from Samsung’s pre-order page and various retail partners. However, you may also purchase the phones from our local telcos and enjoy a device subsidy.
All major telcos in Malaysia have already opened pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy S9 series. The Samsung pre-order deal also applies to Maxis, Celcom, Digi, and U Mobile, where you can get a Harman Kardon Onyx Mini worth RM699 for free.

On top of what’s listed on the table, there are additional perks offered by all the telcos. If you wish to sign up with Maxis, you can also take up their Zerolution bundle for the Samsung Galaxy S9 or Galaxy S9+. Zerolution lets you get the latest smartphones with zero upfront and zero contract. You can also opt in for annual upgrade at a monthly fee of RM44, and change to a new phone after 12 months.
Celcom on the other hand is offering these latest smartphones from Samsung with its EasyPhone installment plan. EasyPhone lets you get the latest smartphones for a nominal monthly fee over 24 months so you do not need to pay thousands of ringgit at one go. Celcom’s plans also comes with free unlimited social apps (WhatsApp and WeChat), free 10GB Video Waller, and free unlimited Yonder Music.
As for Digi, its plans also come with additional perks like free 30 days iflix subscription, and even free Roaming & IDD to 10 countries (for Digi Postpaid 110 only). Finally, U Mobile’s plans come with plenty of additional data such as Video ONZ, Music ONZ, App ONZ, and Roam ONZ.
