Reports have emerged regarding the existence of three brand new motherboards which are made to cater for Intel’s 8th Generation Core processors. What makes these motherboards rather interesting is the fact that they feature embedded 8th Generation Intel Core and Xeon E processors. The chipsets that come with these motherboards are the Q370, QM370 and HM370.
The motherboards in question are the IBase MB995 and IBase MI995. To be more specific, these motherboards, as mentioned earlier, are either equipped with Intel Core i3, Core i5, Core i7, and Xeon E processors. These processors are embedded onto their respective motherboards in the FCBA1440 socket.
Interestingly, the Intel LGA1151 socket on IBase’s motherboards are apparently positioned differently compared to consumer-grade motherboards. When it comes to design, both embedded motherboards do not come with “flamboyant” aesthetics. That said, it’s worth noting that these motherboards do come in two form factors: ATX (MB995) and Mini-ITX (MI995).
Of course, as many of our dear readers may have already guessed, these motherboards are not exactly aimed at general consumers. Unfortunately, it’s not known whether the IBase MB995 and IBase MI995 and their other variants will be made available in Malaysia. In addition, their official date of availability and release date in other regions were not announced either.
