Aside from the ZenFone 5 and ZenFone 5Z, ASUS has also launched the ZenFone 5 Lite at its Mobile World Congress 2018 press event. Featuring a different physical design altogether, this particular device also comes with a rather peculiar camera setup.
Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 alongside another lower-end variant with Snapdragon 430 in certain markets, the ZenFone 5 Lite carries four cameras in total. For its rear main camera, ASUS has chosen the 20MP Sony IMX376 sensor which is paired with f/2.0 lens while the main front camera comes with a 16MP sensor and f/2.2 lens.
Both front and back secondary cameras on the ZenFone 5 Lite feature the same 8MP sensor and 120-degree lens. ASUS has also equipped LED flash on both sides of the phone. Other components of the ZenFone 5 Lite also includes 6-inch FHD+ (2160 x 1080) 18:9 IPS display, 4GB of RAM, 64GB internal storage, and 3300mAh battery.
While ZenFone 5 Lite will be made available throughout the world starting from this March, the pricing for the phone was not revealed at the launch event. We’ll keep you posted once we receive more information regarding this device from ASUS.
