A trio of tablets from Huawei have been leaked ahead of Mobile World Congress. Something that is rather unexpected as he last time Huawei talked about the MediaPad was back in 2016 with the MediaPad M3.
Huawei is preparing three models of its new MediaPad M5. According to the leaks, there will be the MediaPad M5 8, 10 and 10 Pro. All three will be powered by Android 8.0 Oreo with Huawei’s Emotion UI 8.0 running on top.
In terms of variants, the MediaPad M5 10 Pro will only come with a 4G LTE variant with 64GB on internal storage. The MediaPad M5 10 will have both Wi-Fi only and 4G LTE variants with 32GB of storage. Other specs to come with the tablets are display with a resolution of 2560 x 1600, fingerprint scanner, a metal build body and both of the 10 models will have 4GB of RAM. However, there is little information about the MediaPad M5 8 model but expect it to be similar to the 10 models with an eight-inch display. According to the leaked images, there will be a keyboard folio cover as an accessory for the tablets.
This is the Huawei MediaPad M5 10 (Pro). Metal body, 4/32/64GB, 2560×1600 res, camera seems to be pretty important considering the massive cut-out in the cover. Home button/FP reader moved to the side. More pics (w/ official Keyboard Folio Cover here: https://t.co/d2G7VwUr1u pic.twitter.com/iDu3qg3VNo

AndroidHeadlines suggest that the tablet will be launch during the MWC next week, but that isn’t entirely certain. The company will also be having an event next month where it will launch the updated P-series smartphones in Paris; which may also be an appropriate time to talk about its new tablets.
