There are quite a number of iPhone X clones from various phone makers, but this particular one from Doogee is quite interesting. Aside from the fact that the Doogee V’s design is heavily inspired by the iPhone X, it comes with a rather neat hardware – it apparently has an in-screen fingerprint sensor.
This was confirmed by the company itself in a teaser image for the Doogee V. It’s not known yet if the phone is using the same Synaptics fingerprint sensor that’s found in the vivo X20 Plus UD, but it’ll certainly be interesting to see how well it’ll perform – an in-screen fingerprint sensor is still relatively new, after all.
Beyond these details, however, there are no other detailed specifications of the Doogee V – the company will only reveal more information in the near future. However, according to well-known leaker Evan Blass, the V will come with a 6.2-inch display. Based on the leaked render of the phone, it appears to be sporting a dual-camera system on the back too.
The Doogee V will be officially launched on 27 February, and it’ll likely make an appearance at MWC 2018 too. Chances are, it should be an affordable smartphone – much like other Doogee devices.
