Telegram just released a new version of its messaging application. The new version 4.8 update introduce a couple of new notable features to the app, which most users will find particularly useful.
With the new update, Telegram users can instantly watch videos sent to them via streaming. This video streaming feature eliminates the need for users to wait for their videos to finish downloading before they can actually watch it.
A new Auto-Night Mode also comes with the new update – users can enable this feature in the app setting. This mode will automatically switch the app into a dark version of the interface whenever users are at night or in a dark environment.
On top of that, a new login widget is also introduced in the new update; users can login to other websites or services via their Telegram account. Once logged in with the Telegram widget, it will share your name, user name, and profile picture with the website or service. This feature is similar to the already available Facebook, Google, and Twitter login.
For the time being, the update is only available to Android users. According to Telegram, iOS users will have to wait as the update will be available for the operating system at a later time.
