Huawei is introducing a new variant of the Mate 10 Pro in Malaysia. In celebration of Valentine’s Day, the Chinese company is bringing in the Mate 10 Pro Pink Gold. On top of that, Huawei is also running a contest, which offers consumers a chance to win a Huawei Watch Swarovski Edition worth RM2,299.
Naturally, the social media contest is only open to those who purchased the Pink Gold Mate 10 Pro. Once they’ve done that, all they need to do is “express their love to their loved ones in the form of words, drawing, story, or any creative method” on Huawei’s Facebook page. The contest will run from 8 to 12 February, and the entry with the most number of likes will be chosen as the winner on 14 March.
Beyond the aesthetic difference, the Pink Gold Mate 10 Pro is virtually identical to other colour variants of the device. It still has a 6-inch Full HD+ OLED display, a Kirin 970 processor paired with 6GB of RAM, 128GB of non-expandable storage, a generous 4,000mAh battery, and EMUI 8.0 based on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box.
On the back, there’s the Leica-certified dual-camera system made up of 20MP monochrome and 12MP RGB f/1.6 sensors. The front-facing camera, on the other hand, is an 8MP front-facing shooter.
The Huawei Mate 10 Pro in Pink Gold will be available for purchase in Malaysia from 8 February onwards in limited quantities for RM3,099. If you’re keen to get it, it’s best to act fast.
