Launched in Malaysia back in September last year, the Huawei Nova 2i is now more affordable than ever. Retailing at RM1,299 at launch, Huawei’s very first 18:9 smartphone in Malaysia is now going for only RM1,099.
The best part is, this is a price drop by Huawei Malaysia itself. Now that it’s retailing at only RM1,099, the Nova 2i is priced exactly the same as the honor 7X – the sub-brand’s own 18:9 smartphone. It’s quite an interesting move on Huawei’s part.
Considering the fact that it now retails at RM200 less, the Nova 2i offers quite a bit value for money. It comes with a 5.93-inch 2160 x 1080 IPS FullView Display, a Kirin 659 processor paired with 4GB of RAM, 64GB of expandable storage, 16MP + 2MP rear cameras, 13MP + 2MP selfie shooters, and a 3,340mAh battery.
Rounding out the specifications of the Nova 2i are an all-metal chassis, a rear fingerprint sensor, as well as EMUI 5.1 based on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.
The Huawei Nova 2i will retail at RM1,099 from tomorrow onwards on 3 February 2018. It is available in three colours: Aurora Blue, Graphite Black, and Prestige Gold.
