A few days back, we reported on Elon Musk selling a flamethrower through The Boring Company. Information and access of the tool, which looked like a weapon out of Mass Effect, was initially blocked by a password-protected page (which we tried our earnest to guess). Fortunately for us, the site’s now completely accessible to the public, along with slightly more information about the flamethrower.
For starters, pre-orders for the Flamethrower are no longer set at US$600 (~RM2,321), but at US$500 (~RM1,934). Additionally, the fine print on the company’s page confirms that The Boring Company will definitely ship out its new product, but those making pre-orders outside of the U.S. will need to pay additional customs fees (depending on the country of origin).
The page also has a short clip of the Flamethrower in action, but why settle for two random people posing with this big boy toy, when you can watch a short clip of Elon Musk himself running around with his own creation, and nearly immolating the cameraman.
