Paradigm Mall is giving customers who visit the shopping centre a chance to participate in its AR-based ‘Golden Fortunes’ contest. The app, which can be downloaded from both the Google Play Store and Apple’s iOS store, is designed to give shoppers access to the mall’s festive-centric Augmented Reality (AR) feature.
Designed and developed in line with the upcoming Chinese New Year (CNY) celebration, visitors using the app will be able to interact with images and objects that can only be seen through their mobile devices. But that’s not all: with the app, users can also stand a chance to win some special prizes that reflect on the festive season.
Here’s you can participate. First, download the Paradigm Mall Golden Fortunes app. The next part actually requires you to spend a bit of money – RM138 in a maximum of two receipts (terms and conditions apply). Doing this will enable you to gain a pack of specially designed ‘Ang Pow’ packets that have a special AR marker printed on them.
Then, using the Golden Fortunes app, shopper must then scan these marker, which will then start the app’s ‘Spin the Wheel’ mini-game.Once you’ve spun the wheel, a random prize will pop up at the end, at which point, shoppers can then collect the displayed prize at the concierge counter of the mall.
Paradigm Mall’s Golden Fortune celebration will officially come to an end on 19 February 2018, but we have gotten confirmation for the mall’s officials that the Golden Fortune app and its mini-games will continue up until 5 March 2018.
