Case manufacturers usually gets the dimensions and specifications of upcoming phones early. In this case (no pun intended) the Poetic online store has revealed renders of the Samsung Galaxy S9+.
From what we can see, Samsung hasn’t changed much on the device. It could be that the fingerprint scanner has been moved off the back; although it doesn’t seem to be visible anywhere else on the device. Perhaps indicating that Samsung has something extra to announce with the phone this time around. Also visible is the USB Type-C change port and 3.5mm audiojack.
The LED flash and heart rate sensor make a return to the Galaxy S9+, as does the Bixby button. Of course, the dual camera module is present, and from an earlier report, we may see a combination of a f/1.5 lens and a f/2.4 lens for better low-light photography. Also seen in the renders are the possible two colours for the model, with the purple hue a new colour for the Galaxy range.
Samsung has confirmed that it is launching the phone in MWC 2018, as the invites are already heading out to media titles around the world.
